1st Cake Smash for Baby
Happy birthday! You baby is turning one and it’s time for the 1st cake smash for baby! What is a cake smash? What does it entail? Every photographer does things a little differently so we’ll talk about how we do things here at Yaffa Koff Photography.
We usually start with family portraits so you can have an updated portrait to cherish. I love capturing the connection between little ones and their parents. At that age your child is usually moving around, whether it’s walking or crawling and either talking and/or babbling. The amount of cuteness waiting to be captured is unlimited! We also take simple portraits before we start the 1st cake smash for baby.
As always with every session that I offer, my client closet is available. That way your baby is dressed adorably and you don’t have to stress about what they should wear!
Finally the last step is the 1st cake smash for baby. We bring out the cake and (hopefully) your baby will go to town! Sometimes babies aren’t that happy and will cry because they don’t like getting icing on their hands. And that is totally ok! We will still get cute portraits. If your baby loves it, they might end up going all in, literally, and smash their faces into the cake!
