Washington, DC Newborn Photography Session
When Mom called to tell me that she had baby Number 2 I couldn’t have been more excited. And then she told me the sweetest thing. She said, “My husband insisted that we use only Yaffa because Yaffa takes the best photos and our baby deserves the best!!!” You can bet I was in tears when she told me that!
When they came for their Washington, DC newborn photography session I was so excited because the last time I had seen big sis was when she was a newborn, and boy has she grown up! I LOVE taking those sweet sibling photos where the big sister or brother is so proud that they’re “holding” the baby. Don’t you worry, dad was right there spotting to make sure no one moved too suddenly!
Of course, the photo of mom, dad, and the new baby is one of my absolute all-time favs…how gorgeous?!?!? The way that dad is looking at the mom…all that love…swoon!!!
Grandma was visiting special from Nigeria to see the new baby, so of course, we had to commemorate that with a portrait with both of the cuties!
And then we ended off the session getting some portraits just of Baby Chie. He is just the cutest little thing! He and his sister both had that same curly head of hair when they were born…it’s just so delicious! All in all, I’m totally obsessed with this family and their gorgeous children (can you tell? lol!)
