While there are many ways to run a photography business, I have grown to love this so much, and so do my clients. Nothing is better than finally seeing the beautiful family portraits that you will have for years to come. So, what is a reveal session, and why do I run my sessions this way?
What Is A Reveal Session
During your reveal session, we do just that—reveal the images from your session. I typically sit down with my client(s) and go through the images to help you choose your favorite ones.
You might think the more images you get, the better, right? But that’s not always the case. Having hundreds of digital images does you no good if you are immediately overwhelmed by them. And trust me, the decision fatigue and overwhelm are real things. Not to mention, with tons of images, comes the stress of keeping them safe. The images typically end up sitting in the online gallery, and you forget to back them up or eventually lose access to them.
So, why a reveal session?
Imagine you see your gallery in person with me. No more than 50-75ish (depending on session type) images, and we go through them one at a time. So we get to really appreciate every one of them. We discuss what you like about them and what you want to do with them. We go through every single image to ensure you see the gallery as a whole. Sometimes you see things from a different perspective and like it or get an opinion you might not have considered.
Do you want a portrait for the wall? An heirloom album? There are so many options, and I’m here to hold your hand through it all and take all the stress away! From beginning to end, I will guide you through the entire process. And at the end of the day, you end up with beautiful images that you can hold in your hand and enjoy forever!
